Bait and switch, (What's this?) This is a bait and switch. The image in ad shows a thick bottom and the PRODUCT FEATURES discribe a "tri-ply base", it is a single ply base.
Disappointing, I purchased a Progressive stockpot several years ago and found it to be pretty well made. Very disappointed thathey have cheapened the product - appears to be thinner stainless and definitely weaker attachment of the handles - wouldn't expect them to stand up to the weight of a full pot. Spend a little more and buy a good one.

FRAGILE!, (What's this?) Very fragile, and when you get a small dent in it, the coating cracks which exposes edges which cuts your flesh quite nicely...
Beware---insert is not full-size; could be dangerous, (What's this?) The picture the company supplied to the Amazon site is cleverly shot to disguise the fact that the insert is only about four inches deep, and falls to the bottom of the pot. Since there are no handles on the insert, I don't know how they could expect you to remove it from a heated pot---it would be quite dangerous to attempt to do so.

The price was great, but I am returning this pot and replacing it with one that includes a FULL insert.

Given the safety factor, I have recommended to Amazon that they cease selling this item.

16 qt steamer, Product was as advertised, good value, and shipped promptly. Favorably impressed with the company and product.
Football shaped, (What's this?) I'll never know how this steamer performed as it arrived in a box that looked like it had been kicked from the warehouse to my home. The pot is oblong and the lid is wedged inside. I'm going to return it today and won't be re-ordering. I'll try to find one locally. I should have paid attention to other reviewers that had the same issue.
